South African Calendar
The calendars of South African public holidays provide you with information about public holidays of 2008-2010 in the eleven official languages.  Never miss a public holiday or any of those special Monday holidays.  Use these calendars to promote your mother tongue or simply celebrate our multilingualism.

The calendars have been tested on Outlook, Evolution, Lightning, Kontact and iCal.  They follow the iCalendar standard so will work on most modern calendaring applications.

There are specific instructions for various applications at the end of this page. For most applications you can just click on these links or follow these easy steps:
  1. Copy the URL for the calendar from this page.  In most web browsers that means right-clicking on the link and selecting 'Copy Link Location' or similar.
  2. Add a new calendar to your calendering program
  3. Paste the copied URL into the new calendars text box for the link to the external calendar.  On Windows Ctrl-V will paste the URL.
